Access reservoir data from wells never thought possible
Ziebel’s acoustic wireless monitoring system provides high quality data and reduced installation time thereby delivering a reservoir data monitoring solution to improve production and surveillance in all types of wells. The system uses acoustic waves to send data via the pipe string and is proven in numerous environments. Either in-line (tubing deployed) or through tubing versions are available for both permanent monitoring and/or service work (fracturing, stimulation, well cleanout, build up and transient testing).
Permanent application: Our wireless system uses battery power and can be used for up to 3 years of operation without recharging and up to 5 years with a stacked tool. These systems can be used where cable solutions are not practical as well as retrofit solutions where a cable system is no longer functional.
How does it work?
The Downhole Wireless Pressure and Temperature Monitoring Solution saves considerable operation time by providing real-time knowledge at the surface during the pumping and stimulation jobs. Additionally, no cables are required in the coiled tubing application.
For wireline interventions, Ziebel has a solution where a wireless gauge is attached to a wireline plug enabling real time, downhole data at the surface.The wireless system is deployable through tubing and can be retrieved using wireline or slickline. The system can be deployed in the production wells to measure and transmit production parameters to the surface without a hardwired connection.
