Inflow Control technology was first developed by StatoilHydro for use in the North Sea Troll field. The objective of the ICD technology has progressed from originally offsetting heel/toe effects in high productivity unconsolidated sandstone applications to reducing the negative effects on water and gas coning from heterogeneous formations.

Ziebel has a complete range of inflow control products and services including hardware, custom engineering and software analysis to optimize and adjust the ICDs at the time of installation. Ziebel can now offer several ICD designs that cover different applications and need for adjustability.
