History

Ziebel was founded in Stavanger Norway on January 2^nd, 2006.

The company’s vision was and still is to become a significant contributor to increased recovery through innovative technology and  solutions.

The strategy was to organically and through acquisitions grow a global technology and service provider. The focus today is on innovative well intervention using the Z-System ™ and artificial lift through the Z-Lift developments

Energy Ventures led an investment consortium which includes Viking Venture and Jebsen Asset Management and this consortium has supported and funded Ziebel from the very start and is still very active as the major shareholders.

The company has been through several acquisitions since its inception as is now present with engineering and operation in Norway, UK, Oman and Dubai as well as in North America.
