BJ Services and Ziebel announce Co-operation Agreement

On Wednesday, September 26th, 2007, the COO of BJ Services Company, David D. Dunlap and the CEO of Ziebel AS, David S. Ottesen signed a Joint Marketing Agreement.

BJ Services is a leading provider of pressure pumping and other oilfield services to the petroleum industry. The Company's core business comprises cementing, stimulation, downhole tools and coiled tubing services worldwide. BJ also provides tubular services, process and pipeline services, and specialty chemical services in selected geographic markets.

Ziebel AS, headquartered in Stavanger, is a respected provider of products that include downhole instrumentation and control systems, standard well completion components and solutions, downhole monitoring solutions, subsea plug- and abandonment monitoring, artificial lift solutions, as well as services that include fiber optic DTS well logging interventions, deployment systems, evaluation of reservoir performance and artificial lift optimization. Ziebel has four acquisitions completed to date: iCalTech, Axon Instruments, Tubel Technologies and Knowledge Reservoir.

The goal of the agreement is to achieve a long-term joint marketing relationship to participate in integrated field development projects worldwide.

Representatives from the Ziebel and BJ Services organizations recently met at the BJ Service’s Aldine Westfield facility in Houston to kick off the agreement.
