Position: Completions Manager

Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit a Completions Manager to join our busy and exciting team located at our headquarters in Stavanger, Norway.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The responsibility and tasks of the Completion Manager will include but not limit to:

• Manage engineering, product improvements, sales support, operations, budgeting, global inventory management and HSSE&Q
• Provide monthly reports of activities to clients
• Participate actively in quality improvement efforts
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Act as liaison between day-to-day operations and the client
• Provide technical assistance to clients concerning reservoir and production optimization aspects of the well completion
• Develop and support global and region strategic projects
• Support horizontal completion production optimization efforts
• Participate in tender activity
• Provide monthly reports of activities to corporate

 

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have the following:
Formal qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years experience from field, operations and sales
• Extensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
• Technical engineering or applied science qualifications are essential

 

Personal qualities / skills:

• Project engineering and management experience
• Knowledge of: Active Well Completions (Smart IWS technology), Cased Hole and Open Hole
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Team player
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Highly self motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to motivate others
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Participate and coordinate tender activities
• Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
• Spanish language skills are desirable but not essential
