Position: Electronics Production Technician

Responsibility/ tasks: Build and test of Ziebel products in the production area. Products require soldering, wiring, test often with PC based automated test rigs. The job involves some build work, running tests, establishing test systems, and general production lab work involved in the manufacture of advanced downhole products. Products are all processor based.

We are looking for candidates with the following background:

• Qualifications in Electronic engineering are preferred
• Some knowledge or experience with artwork and schematics
• Some previous experience of oil field electronics would be useful and permanent gauges ideal.
• Ability to solder and carry out wiring
• Training may be given to suitable candidates without the required experience.

 

Furthermore, the right candidate must be interested in engineering and problem solving and have high standards of personal work. He / she should be a quick learner and good team player.

The position is located in Inverurie, UK.
