Position: Electronics and Project Engineer

Responsibility/ tasks: The position involves design work on a new product development. This project will be first developed and installed during 2007. The job will involve building first units and being product champion with ongoing work. Product includes electronic systems fluids, and mechanical aspects although the product is principally electronic in nature. Work will involve, studies, reports, bench prototyping, artwork generation, generating bills of materials, schematics and production procedures. The job will require some creative thinking and inventive content as this is a ground breaking product. Some travel may be involved due to the international nature of the business and client base.

We are looking for candidates with the following background:

• Qualifications in Electronic engineering are required, degree preferred
• Some knowledge or experience with artwork and schematics
• Some previous experience of oil field electronics and permanent gauges ideal
• Project management experience
• Oil field well completion experience or knowledge a benefit.

 

Furthermore, the right candidate must be interested in engineering and problem solving and have high standards of personal work. He / she should be a quick learner and good team player.

The position is located in Inverurie, UK.
