Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company, Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit Field Engineers to join our busy teams located across the world.

Responsibility/ tasks: The job involves field installation and troubleshooting of existing field installations of permanent downhole gauge systems, and pump monitoring systems. This work involves preparing field installation equipment, studying well completion drawings and ensuring installations whether run by Ziebel or by our worldwide partners, run smoothly and without problems. The work will also involve attending field installations to either carry out the installations or to assist and train the crew who are installing the equipment. Travel will be regular so the candidate should be someone who enjoys travel and adapting to working in new countries and cultures, and who will have no problems being away from the base location for extended periods.

Formal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject and / or significant industry experience (Oil and Gas industry)
• Experience of permanent gauge installations preferred
• Some electronics knowledge preferred
• Cased Hole Upper Completion preferred
• Competency with PC’s is important
• Oil field experience in wireline or slickline
• Some mechanical aptitude
• Oil field experience in any field would be useful
• Enthusiastic
• A quick learner
• Determined when solving problems
• Have a high standard of workmanship

Languages:

• The successful candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English
