Position:Global Product Champion Ziebel Intervention Services
Type of Employment: Full-time
Location: Stavanger, Norway

This person should know about well interventions, where a background from wireline and/or coiled tubing (alt. capstring installations) is ideal. The job will consist of continued development of our intervention methods, working with the sales team to market the methods, plan wellbore interventions, give support to and on some occasions work as a member in the field operations, work with the fiber optic specialist team to ensure systems are integrated and operating professionally, and more. In depth knowledge and certification in pressure control systems for well interventions are also requested.

The fiber optic logging service launched by Ziebel at this stage is the ZipLite, which is basically running a fiber optic logging cable into the wellbore for flow identification, leakage detection, well completion operation verification, etc. In addition we are these days launching the ZipLog methodology, that is based on pushing a semi-stiff optic rod into live high deviation wellbores.

Responsibility/ tasks:

• Assume responsibility of the assigned job from call out until equipment has returned to the station.
• Review job procedures with the customer before and after the job, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
• Maintenance and operation of ZipLog systems, including supervising and performing a variety of services. This is a field position.
• Prepare Service Tickets, Reports and memorandums on issues connected with department activities.
• Organize and verify the process of continuous training and qualification improvement of employees within Department.
• Train subordinates on equipment, job procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Direct and perform routine maintenance on all coiled tubing and if necessary associated equipment.
• Ensure jobs are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with Ziebel’s HSSE&Q management system
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

We are looking for candidates with the following background:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5-7 years experience as a Coiled Tubing and/or Intervention Supervisor.
• Must be a self-starter and leader who is capable of working with little supervision.
• The successful candidate will be expected to work in remote locations in accordance with Company Safety Policies and Standards Practices.
• Must be comfortable working in a foreign location, and a multicultural environment.
• Have a good working knowledge of the well intervention services.
