Position: Global Product Champion – Wireless Monitoring Technology

Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company, Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit a Global Product Champion for Wireless Monitoring Technology to join our busy team located in Houston.

Responsibility/ tasks: This person should know about Wireless Technology and how it is used in monitoring activities. The job will consist of but not limit to: continued development of our wireless methods, working with the sales team to market the methods, wireless operations, giving support to and on some occasions work as, a member in the field operations as well as working with the specialist teams to ensure systems are integrated and operating professionally.
You will need to:

• Assume responsibility of the assigned job from call out until equipment has returned to the station.
• Review job procedures with the customer before and after the job and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Maintain the operation of systems, including supervision and performing a variety of services. (This is the field position).
• Prepare Service Tickets, Reports and Memorandums on issues connected with department activities.
• Organize and verify the process of continuous training and qualification improvement of employees in the department.
• Train subordinates on equipment, job procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Direct and perform routine maintenance if necessary on all associated equipment.
• Ensure jobs are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with Ziebel’s HSSE&Q management system.
• Performed other duties as assigned.

 

Formal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject and / or significant industry experience (Oil and Gas industry)
• Minimum of 5-7 years experience with Downhole Wireless Monitoring Technology.
• Must be a self-starter and leader who is capable of working with little supervision.
• The successful candidate will be expected to work in remote locations in accordance with the company Safety Policies and Standard Practices.
• Must be comfortable with working in a foreign location and a multicultural environment.
