Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company, Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit a Operations Manager to join our Alaska region.

Responsibility/ tasks: The Operations Manager Alaska is responsible for the successful implementation of all Ziebel contracts in the Alaska area. You will responsible for successful day to day management of the area. This includes maintenance of good relationships with customers on all contract matters, including client interactions, as well as recruitment and training of local staff. Ongoing Liaison with clients and future customers to introduce and ensure they understand the services and technologies from Ziebel, is a must.

As the Sales & Operations Manager you will also be responsible for the development and coordination of HSSE&Q policies. To do this you will have close interaction with Ziebel VP, HSSE&Q for implementation of HSSE&Q to the area.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for Ziebel contract administration, the supervision of local staff deployed to Ziebel for this function as well as Sales & Marketing of Ziebel products. You will also create relationships with the CFO and accounts staff to ensure costing/ coding systems, are followed and review all contract P&L outputs.

Formal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject and / or significant industry experience (Oil and Gas industry)
• At least 5 years relevant technical experience
• An understanding of data monitoring and control systems
• Field experience in Operations within the Oil & Gas Industry
• Previous experience of overseas postings
• Supervisory skills /experience of working on gauge systems with multi-national field crews
• Able to represent Ziebel on all technical, and Operations matters
• Capable of mobilizing Ziebel resources to provide technical support
• Excellent communication skills at all levels are essential
• Ability to provide written reports and reviews
• Candidates, must be comfortable with web based Internet systems & MS Packages
