Position: Petroleum Engineer
Reporting to: VP Reservoir Applications & Global Director of Well Inflow Control Tech

Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company, Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit a Petroleum Engineer to join our busy team located in either Houston, Texas or Tulsa, Oklahoma

Responsibility/ tasks: The position as Petroleum Engineer – Solution Developments for Reservoir/Production Optimization includes but does not limit to the following duties:

• Petroleum Technology tasked related to Reservoir Data Monitoring and Downhole Inflow Performance (including key elements like: reservoir connections to wells, monitoring solutions, downhole completion solutions, identify IOR/EOR methods, inflow performance simulations & interpretations, well performance optimization and reservoir drainage terminology).
• Possible option to act as an Advisor for ICD Application studies (including hardware, software, simulations and reservoir engineering).
• Active, continued education of sales personnel to ensure Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir and Drainage understanding.
• Assist and provide guidance on sales and marketing literature content.
• Other task as and when assigned.

 

Formal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject and / or significant industry experience (Oil and Gas industry)
• Advantage if candidate has a good understanding of Reservoir & Production Optimization
• Self motivated
• The ability to work in a team
• Computer literare
• The ability to work well under pressure
