Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company, Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit a Project Manager to cover our Latin America region

Responsibility/ tasks: The responsibilities and duties of the Project manager are, but will not limit to:

• Manage development of new product/service from conceptual design through to commercialization
• Prepare functional descriptions and related documents
• Identification of supply chain partners (internal and external) and manage partner contracts and deliverables
• Identify customers and engage in development and launch program
• Identify testing requirements and conduct appropriate test program
• Recruit/train and deploy field engineers as required
• Provide routine status reports as required by customer and management
• Prepare operations procedures such as, operating manuals, maintenance manuals, HSSE & Q etc
• In cooperation with area technical sales and Ziebel marketing prepare sales forecasts and budgets

 

Formal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject and / or significant industry experience (Oil and Gas industry)
• Project management training an advantage
• Project management skills learnt from managing multi discipline projects
• Basic finance
• Presentation of complex technical ideas in written and presentation format
  • Concept marketing
  • Project reporting
• Thorough understanding and knowledge (technology and markets) of one or more of:
  • Permanent monitoring
  • Production logging
  • Intelligent wells
  • Slickline/wireline or coiled tubing
• Operations management of new technologies
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with partner companies underpinned by Ziebel values
• Ability to apply innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Ability to work across disciplines (internal and external)
• Perseverance
• Willingness to seek guidance as required
• Willingness to work outside core competence and learn
• Good communication skills

Languages:

• The successful candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English
• A second language (French, Spanish, Portuguese and / or Arabic) a distinct advantage
