Due to recent expansion and the acquisition of another company, Ziebel now has the opportunity to recruit Technical Sales Engineers to join our busy team located across the world.
Responsibility/ tasks: This job will be to support the Ziebel World Wide sales people in relation to the product manufactured and technically supported from the UK operation. The job will also involve sales of all Ziebel global products in the UK and European market. Work will principally involve visiting customers, assessing markets, preparing literature, and submitting quotations. Travel will be regular so the candidate should be someone who enjoys travel and adapting to working in new countries and cultures, and who will have no problems being away from the base location for extended periods. Furthermore, In the management capacity you will also be responsible for managing a team of Technical Sales Engineers, the training and developing new members of staff, submission weekly and monthly reports to the line managers as well as ensuring sales targets are reached and proposing improvements when and where necessary.
Formal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
- Significant industry experience (Oil and Gas industry)
- Sales and or marketing experience required
- Experience of oil field electronics systems useful and permanent gauges ideal.
- Experience of oil field well completions and reservoir measurement systems would be ideal.
- A proven track record in sales and business development is essential
- The ideal candidate should be motivated and interested in engineering
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Achieving a sales budget must be a motivator for the candidate
- The successful candidate should work well in a team and be quick to learn
- Excellent communication skills with people of all levels
