This new wireless system employs stress waves in the pipe string to communicate throughout the wellbore. The system is deployable through tubing and can be retrieved using wireline or slickline. The tool can be anchored at any depth in the wellbore using slips and has built-in pressure and temperature gauges. It can be deployed in production wells to measure and transmit production parameters to the surface without a hardwired connection.
